MATC is an excellent resource in the greater Milwaukee area, offering affordable educational opportunities in careers that pay well and have jobs to spare. In many ways it is the perfect solution to address our cities specific problems (such as segregation, and wealth disparity - especially across racial lines.) However in some ways MATC has not always met the needs of it’s student body, specifically for students who are looking for a little bit more of a traditional campus experience.
This year student organizations are chipping away at that reputation!!! In a historic collaboration between student groups, the Black Student Union and the Asian Student Association have put together a spectacular week full of homecoming events!
The first few days students are encouraged to dress up!
10/21 Monday: Represent your Organization Day
10/22 Tuesday: MATC Pride Day (Wear MATC swag)
10/23 Wednesday: Represent your Major Day (Healthcare Pathways will nail this one)
10/24 Thursday: Costume Day
Also Thursday a pep rally will be held at 4:30 p.m at the Downtown Campus.
No costume on Friday, just get ready for the Mythical Masquerade dance that will take place Downtown in room M605 from 6p.m to 9. If you want to come to this, please RSVP Here
Finally there will be a Trunk or Treat at West Allis! Bring your kids, or if you want to decorate your car, you can sign up here.
